Day Two

I ate no pastries today and DAMN but those cheese danish looked good, didn’t they?

I worked late and by the time I got done puttering with the previous entry it was too late to exercise. I don’t regret that overmuch because after last night’s calisthenics-and-shadow-boxing combo it’s probably wise to take a break, get a good night’s sleep, and get up early for a hike.

For supper I had my standard egg-and-small-slice-of-cheddar-cheese-on-dry-toast sandwich with eight ounces of milk. One of my greatest blessings is that I don’t get bored with simple foods that I like. That sandwich provides a good proportion of complex carbs to fat to protein, and takes the place of other less healthy alternatives. Eating one for breakfast and one for supper suits me just fine.
