Day Fifty

Wow. Halfway through my first hundred days.

I slept in because I knew that I needed to catch up on the sleep I missed on Friday night — not to mention the sleep I needed after that thirty-mile hike on Saturday.

I made it through another day of farcical work while following my diet. I was rather down today but I’m proud to say that I didn’t allow it to translate into a binge. I knew that I’d only be compounding my sadness.

After work I did a very solid calisthenics routine. This is the most pushups I’ve done yet.

200 jump ropes
48 bench dips
200 jumping jacks
10 pushups

200 jump ropes
42 bench dips
200 jumping jacks
8 pushups

200 jump ropes
40 bench dips
200 jumping jacks
6 pushups

A sensible dinner of an egg sandwich, and apple and two oranges rounded out that day. And now for some more sleep. Good night!
